Knitting Friendships 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month / September 14th - December 14th 1:30 - 3:30 Minimum age: 12 Registration Fee: $15 adults (per session)/ Students 12-18 free Material fee: none for the first time; individual, depending on the chosen project / Bring your own knitting needles and yarn if possible Come experience the transcendent world of knitting! Meet Gundega Baldwin, our latest teaching artist, who has recently moved to Cedaredge from Latvia. She will share her skills with you by introducing you to the Northern European knitting traditions. If you have basic knitting skills (knit and purl), come join this knitting group, gain motivation, receive helpful pointers, and create new friendships along the way. Gundega will help you knit warm colorful mittens, socks, and hats while imbuing your knits with love, creativity, and patience. After these classes you will never search for a present for friends and family again! Christmas is still in the distance; however, an old Latvian saying applies: “Make sleighs in summer, but carts in winter!” Knit, knit, purl, purl Knit white, knit black Knit and smile, knit and twirl Knit for friendship and come back!
