Horse in Charcoal Saturday, April 25th | 1:00 - 4:00 Minimum age: 14 Registration Fee: $75 Material fee: All materials included - paper, drawing board, tape, carbon paper, charcoal pencils, pencil sharpener, erasers, sand paper, Exacto knife, blenders, protective tracing paper. Discover the beauty of charcoal drawing as you create a stunning horse - step by step. No drawing experience? No problem! I’ll guide you through simple techniques and easy “artist tricks” that will teach you how to truly see and bring this beautiful horse to life on paper. You absolutely can do this! Students will learn how to use a gray scale tool to observe and match values on their drawing. Each student will receive a line drawing to work with. They will use various charcoal pencils to apply charcoal and erasers and blending tools to remove charcoal to their desired value (darkness). They should complete their horse drawing within the class time.
