The Grand Mesa Arts & Events Center relies on generous annual support to sustain our operations, keep our programs vibrant, and ensure accessibility to the arts for all.
Your annual donation, regardless of the amount, directly fuels everything we do - from providing essential art education workshops for local students to hosting captivating performances and gallery exhibitions that enrich our entire community.

YEA! (Youth Empowerment Through the Arts)
YEA! is the Grand Mesa Arts and Events Center’s (GMAEC) program that provides all classes, camps, and art educational opportunities for Pre K-12 students at absolutely no cost. GMAEC believes that access to the arts is not a luxury, but a fundamental necessity. Our FREE youth programming is a direct investment in the vitality of our community. Your gift helps build the YEA! fund and guarantees FREE youth art opportunities for the current year.
General Operating Funds
Your gift enables GMAEC staff to continue to provide and even raise the bar on the quality of concerts, art exhibits, classes, theatre, film and destination events (Grand Mesa Songwriter Festival, Grand Mesa Short Film Festival and the Grand Mesa Writer’s Symposium). GMAEC attracts sell-out crowds because of our diverse programming that requires funding in our general operating budget. Salaries, utilities and maintenance are also needs within our yearly budget.
Capital Improvements Reserve Fund
Every year we strive to maintain a reserve fund for improvements and maintenance of our historic building. We need your gifts to fund our upcoming needs such as painting the outside of the art center, providing better handicap access from our parking lot, providing safe hardscape access between the art center and the Art Garage and lighting in the Pottery Studio. Unforeseen projects arise throughout the year and the reserve fund is a vital part of maintaining our property.
Endowment Fund
GMAEC has formed an Endowment Fund that will preserve the long-term financial health of the art center. While annual donations help the art center thrive today, contributions to the Endowment Fund ensure our strength for generations to come. Your endowment gifts are a lasting legacy that honors your love of art, your belief in community and your desire to preserve excellence in the arts for future audiences.
