This engaging class invites you to use hand-building techniques to craft a beautiful, functional French press from a simple flat slab of clay—no prior pottery experience required. Across three detailed sessions, you'll first learn to prepare and wedge your clay, then roll and texture it into a suitable cylinder shape. In the second session, you’ll enhance your creation by forming and attaching essential elements like feet, a spout, and a handle, culminating in crafting a perfectly fitting lid. Finally, explore various glazing techniques to add the finishing decorative touches, ensuring your unique piece is ready for daily use.
