Forever Home on the Creek

The owners of this secluded family home on Surface Creek designed and built their forever home themselves, with a little help from a local builder.  The “five-butt kitchen” as they dubbed it was intended for many cooks, as well as the outdoor kitchen. As a semi-retired geotechnical engineer, the owner has put his rock sculpting skills to work on his own landscaping projects.

Cedaredge Born and Bred – Viki’s Horses That Is

This homeowner has always come back to her roots – Cedaredge and her horses.  When she thought about downsizing, she knew her home could be smaller but the barn and the property would need to be large with views of the Grand Mesa.  The 1,000 square foot home features well-designed spaces for convenient living.  The barn offers the horses luxurious, spacious quarters.
