Sunday, July 19th | 1:00 - 5:00pm Minimum Age: 15 Registration Fee: $65 Material fee: Materials available for sale at the Art Garage In this class you will be introduced to the use of perspective, learn how colors interact, and how to mix paint to specific thickness and color. We will learn different painting techniques using different sized and shaped brushes. An image will be provided and each student will begin to understand how to create an original piece of art using their own insights and abilities. The goal is not necessarily to come away with a finished piece of art, but for the participants to gather knowledge and take this information with them to continue to create original artwork on their own. In addition, his paintings have been represented in group shows in galleries in Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico. His work is greatly influenced by his years growing up in rural settings of Missouri, Oklahoma, and Iowa. After years of working as a commission artist, he is pleased to be back in a landscape that inspires him and is enjoying Western Colorado.
