Thursdays July 23rd OR August 13th 7:00 - 9:30 Minimum age: 18 Registration Fee: $40 Material fee: none/all materials included Enjoy an evening of painting in a relaxed atmosphere. One drink of your choice will be provided from the bar (wine, beer, cider or soft drink) and light appetizers will be served. This class is beginner friendly, but advanced painters are also welcome. Anna will demonstrate techniques for a painting and then support you through steps or set you free on your own to create. If you have ever wanted to try painting with acrylics this may be your time! Most paintings will be of nature landscapes, moons, trees, and some abstracts. Mingle with neighbors, bring family, or friends and enjoy a relaxing evening painting. Included in the class are painting supplies (acrylic paint, brushes, canvas, etc.) a beverage of your choice (beer, wine, cider or soft drink) cheese and crackers. Come early to meet Anna, the facilitator, and mingle with your neighbors. The bar will be open at 6:30. We will be using ACRYLIC water based paints and provide all of the supplies. Anna will get you started, but let you work at your own pace, demonstrating techniques and offering support. You will take your painting home at the end of the evening ready to display. She learned painting with oils in her high school years and learned on her own over the years. She has also successfully learned to use watercolor and acrylic. She is a self-taught artist who is always learning . She hopes to inspire others to bring out their artistic self.
