Feathered Feast: Chicken (or Turkey!) Serving Bowl Workshop Sunday, November 1st 10:00am - 3:00 pm Sunday, November 15th 1:00pm - 3:30pm Minimum Age: 14 Registration Fee: $115 Material fee: all materials included Create a whimsical serving bowl that’s sure to be the star of your holiday table! During the first session, you’ll throw a functional bowl on the pottery wheel and transform it into a charming chicken by adding a head, wings, and tail once the clay reaches the perfect leather-hard stage. Prefer a turkey for Thanksgiving? You’re welcome to make one instead! Your piece will be bisque-fired between sessions, and you’ll return to glaze it with colors that suit your style. Most students will complete the project during class, but additional finishing time is available during Open Studio if needed. Prior wheel-throwing experience is suggested, but the teacher can help you create the bowl if needed. Some basic pottery experience is helpful. All clay, glazes, and firings are included.
