You’ll learn how to create new depth in your art, through the layering of colors, utilizing new tools to create texture and glaze techniques to expose interpretations of the landscape. We will explore opaque vs. transparent colors creating patterns and compositions that can echo the landscape you wish to convey. Julia will take you through creating 4 small pieces and at least one larger piece of art 12x16” to take home with you. She will help direct you to produce your strongest possible vision while learning this fascinating new medium. Some supplies will be provided, however; participants are encouraged to bring any additional supplies. Contact Robin Luster at robin.gmaec@gmail.com for a detailed list of suggested supplies including paint, tools, art board, cold wax medium, and palette.
