Note to Parents: You are registering your child for a 5 week course valued at $145 and paid for by generous donations to our YEA! Program.  Because spots are limited and fill up quickly, full attendance is essential. Description: 

Art Club is all about the fundamentals! Engage in the process of reverse engineering and build your artist tool kit. Come learn with Mrs. B in a project based exploration of the elements of art: line, shape, color, form, space, value and texture. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and explore art media that will include: pastels, watercolor, markers, collage, and mobiles. The five week projects will enhance fine motor skills, increase spatial and visual awareness, and encourage creativity. 

Instructor bio: Deb graduated from Colorado Mesa University with a BA in Art. She is a lifelong artist, with areas of  practice in: painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor), drawing (graphite, colored pencils), sculpting, collage, mixed media, printmaking, jewelry making, bookmaking and pastel work. She was 

employed as an Artist-In-Residence for ten years at several elementary schools in School District 51. She has taught several Art Club courses at GMAEC as well. Currently, her interests include portraits of people as well as animals.
