The Last Date for Film Submission is February 13, 2026

 

*PLEASE NOTE- INCOMPLETE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED 

 

1. Video runtime- 4 minutes minimum/ 20 minutes maximum.

 

2. Video must be in- “landscape” format, MP4 video format, in color or black & white.

 

3. This is a juried film festival. All decisions will be final.

 

4. No inappropriate behavior in any form may be submitted in the film -

examples: physical abuse or threats, use of derogatory, explicit or discriminatory language, gestures or actions, any form of harassment, racism, sexism. We reserve the right to revoke any film. We are a family focused venue.

 

5. Filmmakers or films must have a Colorado connection.

 

6. Participants may enter more than one film.

 

7. Filmmaker MUST submit the following, with their film(s), to be considered:

     1. Written Filmmakers biography (maximum 35 words) 

     2. Written film synopsis (maximum 35 words)  

     3. Poster of film, with film name and director’s name, in a 11X17 format  

 

8. If participant is under legal age (18 years of age), we must have parent or guardian consent.

 

9. All content used in the short film must be either owned or licensed. If any copyrighted material is used in the film, the participant must have permission and submit a copy to the GMSFF Organizers.

 

10. Festival committee reserves the right to use a 30 second extract of the film for promotional purposes.

 

11. No early or late submissions will be accepted.
