Singer-songwriter Natalie Spears takes the stage with a string ensemble to present her celebrated album, Hymn of Wild Things, in a reimagined form arranged by composer, Illan Blanck. Released last year, Hymn of Wild Things is a deeply personal collection of songs that explore the intricate beauty of nature, the bittersweetness of loss, and the quiet resilience of the human spirit. In this new set, Spears’ soulful voice, accompanied by her guitar, banjo, and piano, are elevated by the lush string arrangements, adding new depth and texture to the already haunting melodies and poignant lyrics. The performance offers an immersive experience, taking listeners on a journey through both the wild landscapes of the natural world and the intimate landscapes of the human heart. The members of the ensemble include Ross Kribbs, Sarah Graf, Delaney Myers, and Carl Meinecke.
