2D Wool Needle Felting Workshop

Instructor: Susan Layman Date: Saturday, June 13 Time: 10:00 - 12:00 Minimum age: 14 Registration Fee: $47 Material fee: all materials included Susan will guide students along to make this lovely sunflower field. We’ll adhere our pictures to a mat. Students will leave with a colorful sunflower picture and a wooden easel for display. Susan will have everything you’ll need to make a 2D wool picture. Bring nothing but your smile! Great class for beginners or experienced felters! Materials included: Felt pallet Colored wool 8” square mat with 4” space for picture Small wooden easel About the Instructor: Susan Layman began her wool art work 7 years ago when her sister sent her a box of wool! She focuses on 2D wool landscapes and portraits. She won first place in the Edge of Cedars Art Show for her fiber arts landscape “Take Me Home Country Road” 3 years ago. She teaches at GMAEC currently. Her artwork is sold at Cat’s on Main as well as the Refind and Miniatures events at GMAEC.
