Mixed Media Block Printing with Collage

Class Description

June 22nd 10:30 - 3:30 with a 30 minute lunch break Join us! Work with a master printmaker and learn to carve a block (we use easy-cut blocks) for yourself; collage a background using vintage books, maps and ephemeral papers, onto a base sheet of sturdy paper; and then overprint your block onto the collaged paper. But wait! One more step----From there we will hand color the image with gouache or colored pencil. You’ll love the whole creative process and the final product!
