Date: Tuesdays and Thursdays, January 6th - 29th Time: 3:30 - 5:30 Ages: 8 - 12 (children younger than 8 may NOT register) Learn the art of filmmaking by participating in the production of a short film that will be entered into the 2026 Grand Mesa Short Film Festival! Award-winning filmmaker DEan Bonzani will guide this collaborative effort, sharing the techniques and practical knowledge that will equip you to create professional-quality work on a modest budget. The skills you will gain include: Storytelling and screenwriting, directing, videography, lighting, sound recording, props, costuming, puppetry, editing and chroma key/greenscreen effects. Your hands-on contribution to this short film will ensure you walk away with real-world filmmaking experience.
