Preserve the Harvest Festival

Class Description

Join us in this celebration of fermentation, shrub-making, dehydration, and other preservation techniques. This will be a casual but educational gathering with presentations from our area’s experts on the subject and will be an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and interactively experience these ancient techniques. Local vendors will be present with their products available for purchase. Come reap in the abundance of the harvest season with us! Saturday, October 14, 2023 9am - 12pm Suggested donation $10-$25 A light breakfast will be provided. Topics Include: Fermentation Making Shrubs Dehydration Canning Freeze Drying Presentations will be about 15 minutes each, with breaks in between to mingle and browse/shop/learn from the vendors. Vendors will be selling goods and products.
