Class Description

CREATE YOUR OWN COLLABORATIVE HANDPRINTED COTTON SHOULDER BAG This summer workshop will teach you how to design and carve your own small block to be printed onto cotton shoulder bags and then the block will be passed to a classmate to use for their own bag printing. Each block will be consistent in size, and a selection of designs will be available to use. The finished bags can use any number of printed blocks to create a pattern, each one will be unique. A hand press called a Woodzilla will be available for your use to collaborate and print a number of cotton bags in random designs using the blocks you create. All supplies, tools, and the cotton bags will be provided. Are you ready to have some fun and learn a new skill? Bring your apron and plan to get your hands dirty!
