Block Printing Part 2
CREATE YOUR OWN HANDPRINTED TEXTILES (SCARF, TABLE RUNNER, OR LENGTH OF FABRIC) In the NEW ART GARAGE! A 2nd workshop where we will learn how to design and carve our own small blocks for printing onto various cotton textiles including cotton scarf, or length of fabric to be sewn later into something you love such as a table runner or summer top. A hand press called a Woodzilla will be available for your use to collaborate and print with. We will also learn how to print by hand with simple tools. All supplies, tools, and assorted textiles will be provided. Class price: $55 per student Materials and supplies: $35 per student, to be collected in class. There will be a lunch break. Bring a sack lunch or visit one of our wonderful local restaurants!
